Some people tell the story that I was a loser geek -- single, minimum-wage job as a barista at some ridiculous designer-coffee spigot in the City. The myth is that I wanted to buy something for a girl I like and came across this mysterious artifact at a garage sale on my block. It would explain a lot, but I am certain I was squirted like a watermelon seed out of the "normal" universe into the Cartooniverse by some other means. I just can't remember ...
